Last year the RTA advised that Braille stickers were a requirement to be on every Taxi by July 2008 and that failure to display these stickers was an instant fail at fleet inspections. Failure to display these stickers may also result in legal action against the Taxi Operator by the Disability Discrimination or Human Rights Commission.
