BASIC PROCESS OF BECOMING A TAXI DRIVER:
When all these stages are complete Aerial Capital Group will issue you with a network identification number and PIN allowing you to work on the Aerial Capital Group network.
This whole process generally takes around 8-10 weeks to complete.
The training course is conducted by Aerial Capital Group at the Taxi Training School, 24 Kembla St, Fyshwick. Bookings for the course can be made by phoning Brian Cody on (02) 6126 1570 between Monday and Friday.

Authorised driver uniforms are compulsory where a taxi is affiliated with a fleet within the Aerial Network. Although the Canberra Cabs and Elite Taxis have amalgamated to Canberra Elite Taxis, the current uniforms are still valid, until 1 July 2009.
New Canberra Taxi Industry Association driver uniforms have been introduced for the amalgamated Canberra Cabs and Elite Taxis fleet, and are available through the Aerial Retail Shop. The current Canberra Cabs and Elite Taxis uniforms will be phased out over a 12 month period, with the new CTIA uniform compulsory by 1 July 2009. Silver Service drivers have a separate Silver Service fleet uniform, which is also compulsory when driving a Silver Service taxi.
All uniforms are to be clean, neat and tidy at all times.
